Island Kiss Organic Lip Moisturisers: Review

Today I’m reviewing my summer bae! The lip balm from Island Kiss– Amla Vanilla ans Ignes Lavender! I was introduced to this brand through YouTube. Honestly I got instantly attracted to these lip balms only because of the packaging. They have done an amazing job when it comes to packaging. It is really very appreciable. 

They are based in Goa, India. These lip balms are organic, paraben and sulphate free and vegan.

The ingredient list is pretty attractive. Its a blend of various oils like pure castor oil, English lavender essential oil, etc. They come in 3 variants namely Amla Vanilla and Inges Lavender (Rs.399), Puerto Berry Blush (Rs.499)and Cherry Blossom Flores (Rs.399).

The one which I own is the first one. The other two have mild tint of color to it but this one is the colourless one. I prefer my lip balms to the colourless. This lip balm has a very nice mild scent to it and it also has a nice taste (I know that sounds weird 😜) But they say it’s edible (then why not 😉) It also has SPF 15 making it perfect for summers! It does help moisture my lips very well as I have very dry lips. 

Since it is a blend of various oils it wouldn’t be the appropriate one to wear under your lipstick as it would glid off easily. The staying power isn’t that great on my lips. It has stayed on my lips for maximum 2 hours after which it requires reapplication. Although even after it disappears from my lips it does keep my lips moistured well for another hour easily. I do find it to be a bit expensive as there are tons of various lip balms in the market for comparatively affordable prices. But if you’re someone who loves products that are organic then you must consider giving these a try.

Overall I have enjoyed using this during the summer season. Ever since I’ve got it I’ve been using it nonstop! As I have very dry lips a lip balm is a staple for me. I’ve heard so many good things about Puerto berry and it’s the next one on my wishlist.
