My Hair Coloring Experience

Ever since I got my hair colored everyone is asking me about it. So today I’ve finally decided to sit down and share my experience with you guys. Also I wanted to give you guys a small life update. I’ve recently completed my education and I’ve got a full time job now. It’s been 5 months already (Yes, time flies) and so far I’m enjoying it a lot. But my passion towards blogging stays intact and I promise to blog as much as I can for you guys. I know you guys understand me and will surely support me as always.

So let’s get back to the topic. It was for my birthday that I decided to get my hair done. Before I could finally get it done like every other girl I had doubts, I was scared, I changed my thoughts a couple of times but finally gave it a go! And I was surprised to see that I’m in love with it. I love the change!

If you’ve read my previous posts then you know that I ALWAYS do my research before getting anything done! So I did visit a couple of salons for consultation and finally decided to go with BBLUNT! (R city, Ghatkopar, Mumbai) If you’ll ask me then I would say the key to decide better is the trust you build with an individual. Confused? Well, let me help you. It should be someone who you can completely trust with your hair. You know you won’t end up regretting.

Hair colouring was a BIG decision for me. If you’re like me I would like to give you some tips.

  1. Always go for a well reputed salon.
  2. Do not get carried away with offers to save money. It will eventually take a toll on you and we don’t want that.
  3. Look for someone who is an expert with hair colouring and has a lot of past experience.
  4. Do your research well. Have ideas in mind to share with the expert. Don’t just trust them blindly, after all you’re the one who’s gonna live with it.

Hair coloring is nothing to be scared of. Be prepared to take good care of it. Use proper products and you’ll be good to go.

I got my hair colored by Nisha, who is a manager and a wonderful person with more than 10 years of experience with hair. She is amazing at her work. Since I wanted to go for an ombre hair color, we went ahead with a blend of Golden Mahogany Brown and Very Light Mahogany Brown. It was a blend of perfect colors to give me the look that I desired. If you’re planning to get your hair colored then I highly recommend getting it done from NISHA.

She also gave me a beautiful updo hairstyle which I absolutely feel in love with! I personally feel it’s a great hairstyle for the wedding season.
