Relvon Colorburst Matte Balm-Sultry

Today I’m reviewing the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in the shade Sultry! The shade number is 225. I have been eyeing on this shade since ages now and its always out of stock until I finally got my hands on it!

Price: ₹ 890 for 2.7 g

Packaging: It comes in a chubby stick form with a twist up mechanism. I prefer this type of packaging as sharpening leads to wastage of product. The shape is of the stick is very convenient for an even application. It is very easy to reach the outer corners of your lips with it. The outer packaging is in the same color as the color of the balm.

Color: It is an everyday sort of color which can be easily worn with anything and everything. It is a beautiful rosy brown shade which would suit all skin tones. For me it is one of those “My lips but better” kind of shade. Very wearable!

Pigmentation: It is very well pigmented. One swipe is all it takes. My favourite part about this balm is that you can easily reapply it whenever you want without worrying about it looking patchy. The color is very buildable. 

Fragrance: It smells of peppermint. Personally I am not a fan of the fragrance. It does linger around for a couple of minutes after which it completely fades away.

Texture: The texture is very creamy and extremely comfortable to wear. Feels very moisturing at the same time and hence it is very suitable to call it a lip balm! Due to the peppermint there is a mind tingling sensation when you first apply it which I do not like, but thankfully it lasts only for a while.

Longevity: Lasts for about 3-4 hours without eating. Doesn’t leave any stain on the lips.

Pros:

1. Beautiful everyday shade
2. Very well pigmented 
3. In spite of being matte doesn’t dry out the lips

Cons: Nothing except the fragrance and the tingling sensation. You will like it if you like peppermint. Also both the factors are temporary so it isn’t a major con.

Overall: It is an excellent everyday shade which can be easily worn with anything and everything. Very comfortable and moisturing at the same time in spite of being matte, which is a plus. This shade will suit a lot of skin tones. I highly recommend this shade if you’re in a search of a very beautiful natural+matte lip shade!
